This blog has become my ATM design, build and imaging diary. I have recently built several new telescopes, a large equatorial mounting and a raised 10' [3m] dome on an octagonal building. Be aware that I deal with building solar telescopes. Which are potentially VERY dangerous! I can accept NO responsibility for any action not directly supervised by myself. 7.10.2022 Attempt at imaging.

Friday 7th SW gales blowing straight into the dome. Moving the telescope! Cloudy with watery sunshine. Fair transparency and quite steady seeing when the sun is visible.

15.52 First capture. AR3112 1448 x 1216

15.57 A second video came out despite cloud crossing. I wasn't even going to process it. Yet it turned out better than the first!
