7.08.2020 Heat wave!

Friday 7th August 77/74F, clear , very warm and bright. Seeing steady at first. 

Three disturbed areas, large filaments and a spot. 

After a run of rather weak images  I am being much more aggressive with my processing.

Om my 27" AOC monitor they look dark, busy and brooding.

When I went indoors, just now, to check the posted images on my PC's Samsung monitor, they still looked weak!

With these two images I used a a larger frame and then cropped around the disturbance.

11.07 5/81F Seeing almost steady but still not very transparent. Pushing ImPPG harder again.

Now added the 2.6x GPC plus crop for more scale on the spot.

12.30 Unpleasantly warm in the dome at 87F. 85F in the shade. The metal handrail on the stairs is hot!

It had reach 90F in the dome by lunch time. I went over to check but the seeing was mushy. So I pointed the slit to the NE and switched everything off.
