April 1st NASA finally admits The Sun is flat!

*

NASA has finally admitted what everybody knew all along. The sun is really flat [as a pancake!] and not a ball at all. The illusion of roundness was perpetuated by NASA's clever software in modifying its pretty solar videos in response to Soviet threats of exposure that they [NASA] never went to the Moon. NASA has apologized on their official Twitter account but will still not be drawn on the subject of Lunar or even Terrestrial flatness. The Green Head of NASA was last seen leaving on a flying carpet saucer to hand in its resignation to El Presidente Chump at his private, hacienda style retreat.

11.30 45/43F, blue sky with increasing cloud coming from the SE.

WL two distinct but small spots in the east progressing across the disk. Bright area nearer the smaller of the two.

H-a An "inoculation scar" of brighter plage surrounding two dark spots. Proms nearby and a nice arched prom on the opposite limb.

Soon clouded over.  Later I used high powers to resolve the larger spot into 1½ spots. The next smaller, a crescent of at least four spots. With an outlier off to one side. In H-a there was a large lighter area with two darker shadows.

I now have a hard drive for my laptop because I was getting frequent warnings about lack of memory every time I captured a video from the Neximage5. Once transferred to the HDD I was able to delete the complete video file off the laptop to make lots more room.
