Thursday 16th. Too much cloud this morning. Windy from the west too. Promised to clear after lunch as the wind goes NW behind the dome. By which time the seeing will [probably] have gone bad.

Realigned the mounting using the SharpCap reticule. Added a long screw between the baseplate and the pier. This allows finer control of PA altitude compared with the turnbuckle.

11.00 Set up completely haywire! LST okay. Sync bad but corrected. Will not hold tracking. Manual start on IH2 ignored several times. Despite setting Sync on E and horizontal Goto slew to sun beyond hopeless! Miles out on both coordinates. D-Du-C still making my site west or positive. AWR has reversed Dec direction overnight again! ASCOM not available. Then it is.

First image at 11.15 is dim. I am trying to follow forum members advice about Gain.
