First images were dreadful! Improving later, but still coarse.
I keep capturing, including flats, over and over again to see how the final image turns out. I have replaced the WO 2x Barlow with the 2.6x T-S GPC for more scale on the proms.
The cloud keeps appearing more often and in larger sizes. Much the same as yesterday. It is becoming much windier too.
The afternoon followed the morning. The seeing was extremely agitated.
Later again: I changed over to the Lunt B1200S2 blocking filter. Captured some interesting surface features as the seeing improved as the afternoon wore on.
[Right] This image is not sharpened but has very coarse grain as if it had been.
[Left] Two examples from the same capture. One sharpened in PhotoFiltre. The other unsharpened. No flat, because of cloud.
