Fullerscopes Telescope Mountings

This blog has become my ATM design, build and imaging diary. I have recently built several new telescopes, a large equatorial mounting and a raised 10' [3m] dome on an octagonal building. 1st June 2020 Disturbed areas in eastern hemisphere. Pt2.

Monday 1st 8.40am 63/61F, bright sunshine again. Two disturbed area in the east. One north and the other south. 75 stacked of 500 frames. B1200 BF x1.6 T-S GPC. Seeing already "highly mobile."

Waiting for still moments. ImPPG is already showing "spotty" sharpening when opened in default settings. Weird!

Now pushing the processing harder for more detail and "drama." Seeing steadying slightly. Trying stacking 75 of 1000. A filament has popped up beside the northerly system.

I restarted imaging in the late afternoon to try and catch better seeing conditions.

I was deliberately pushing the processing in ImPPG to bring out more detail. I have dozens of captures which I haven't yet processed.
