Saturday 8th I went over to check the seeing and was bitten twice on the hand by a horse fly! Fortunately I applied a [protected] ice pack to my hand at intervals. The pain and swelling have subsided. The seeing conditions were awful too!
It was 90F in the dome and 86F outside in the shade when I went over to checkl the seeing later. I hate the heat!
Still 82F at 18.45. The usual, last hour of "better seeing" has passed with cloud still blocking the sun
