4.6.21

4th June 2021 Too windy until late afteroon. Then a double flare!

 *

Friday 4th. Bright, but cloudy, with a strong easterly wind. It wouldn't be much fun having the telescopes being blown all over the place. Perhaps later, when the cloud is supposed to clear and the dome is facing away from the wind.

17.00 67F Cloud has mostly cleared buy sky very white. Considerable detail on the monitor but
thermally active.

17.15 Cloud crossing! Tried capture through thin cloud.  It looked very promising on the monitor. The processed result was awful.

17.46[CET] there was a massive flare NE of the SAR12827

18.00 I now have dozens of captures.

I have processed only a few so far.
