This blog has become my ATM design, build and imaging diary. I have recently built several new telescopes, a large equatorial mounting and a raised 10' [3m] dome on an octagonal building. 3.07.2022 Afternoon imaging between the clouds.

Sunday 3rd July 72F, sunny afternoon after earlier cloud and rain.

Still some cloud.

14.11 [CET] First processed image: AR3046.

Plates of cloud crossing the sun. Giving some relief from the heat.

14.24 AR3047 Almost central on the solar disk in the southern hemisphere. Tiny umbra even at this image scale.

The PST sweet spot looks like central brightness. Ringed by darker features.

14.40. Total cloud cover. Giving up.
