10.38: 50F. Poor seeing with lots of thermal, image wobbling. Struggling to remove brighter corners by adjusting the etalon via the long screw in the inner arc.
11.38: 56F. Best image today, so far. 640x480 and crop to 500 pixels.
12.38 An hour later than the first image and the filament has changed. More detail showing through thanks to ImPPG and better seeing conditions.

13.05: 67/66F. After lunch.
Seeing variable with poor definition on the monitor and after AS!2.
14.01.
14.59. 67/63F.
15.09 Outside temperature falling slowly.
15.23 I have changed to Mono16 to see if there is any visible difference.
15.49 I have just noticed the ASI174 camera is reporting 43F in SharpCap. It is usually around 28-32C. I shall turn the dome for a little while to see if it cools with the telescope in the shade.
No change after ten minutes. The outside of the camera is showing 28C. I have been tracking the sun almost continuously all day. Perhaps I should make a hinged shade cap for the objective? Then the telescope and camera should be cooler between captures.
After half an hour in the shade the camera reading had only dropped to 42C.
16.57 Still capturing at intervals. The filament seems to have grown and straightened somewhat.
17.05: 60F outside in the shade. Camera has crept back up to 43C
when the telescope exposed tracks the sun.
17.38 Last image. Sun heading for the trees. Seeing is gone bad.
