16.6.20

16.06.2020 And there it was [nearly] gone.

Tuesday 16th 08.45 62/60F, full sun forecast all day. The last vestiges of the AR rotate out of sight. Just a ripple on the lower SW limb.

Trying the 2x WO Barlow for more scale. I am still confused about the T-S GPCs and 2x WO Barlow nosepiece. The WO is much weaker than the TS 1.6x when  I look though them side by side.

I later checked the image scale of a prom and the order remained 1.6x, 2x and 2.6x.

I have already confirmed that the 2.6x TS GPC does not neutralize the GPL of the T-S binoviewer. It leaves a 20mm shortfall. Which could be vitally important if it avoids shortening a commercial refractor tube.
