Fullerscopes Telescope Mountings

This blog has become my ATM design, build and imaging diary. I have recently built several new telescopes, a large equatorial mounting and a raised 10' [3m] dome on an octagonal building. Be aware that I deal with building solar telescopes. Which are potentially VERY dangerous! I can accept NO responsibility for any action not directly supervised by myself. Tuesday 15th 60F.

I have moved this image to the top to brighten the place up a bit.

10.30 A bright start but it has clouded over. Managed one capture of AR12833:

11.07. More sun and re-tuned the PST etalon.

Wrapping the PST etalon in plumber's tape seems to have done some good. The lighting is more even and the detail improved.

I have captured and processed lots of videos to make an animation using PIPP.

Now all I need is a taser to make the PIPP AVI come to life! They run like videos but there is zero movement!
