9.09.2021 Imaging. AR2866 flaring.

Thursday 9th  63F, early start at imaging. I have been struggling with unwanted sharpening. It seems AS!3 is sharpening before I open ImPPG. I have captured dozens of videos and all are spoilt by processing.

09.03 [CET] AR2866  3/5 for image steadiness. 3/5 for transparency. Using 2.6x GPC for close-ups.  

SharpCap 912x912. 10ms. Gain 147. PST etalon problems too.  Dark and light bands and H-a off-band in patches.

AS!3 Noise 2. AP 16. 

ImPPG. Default settings [Reset+ reset.]

The slightest sharpening in ImPPG "pixelates" the image.

10.03 AR2868. I have lost the delicate light bridges across the umbra.

I am really struggling to get the usual software to function normally. With the present seeing conditions the results should be excellent. They are not!

I have reloaded Autostakkert. AS!3.14. No change.
