10.05.2020 Flame prom.

Sunday 10th 64/59F, bright but with speckled cloud coming from the west.

A "flame" prom jutting out at 10 o'clock on the limb. Added the 2x WO Barlow for more scale.

Nothing interesting on the disk.

9.47 Swapped to the PST BF for remarkably better resolution.


I seem to be getting radial arcs on the prom. Newton's Rings?

10.20. Serious stripes of cloud over the sun.

11.00 71/61F. The cloud comes and goes.

I am zooming in by 200% in SharpCap to more easily follow the seeing. Then capturing when I see a momentary sharpening of the image on the monitor. 

It is snowing plum tree petals inside the dome from the big trees to the north.
