Saturday 9th  9.30: 59F, bright but highly variable cloud cover all morning. Almost completely overcast at the moment. No rush to set up today, then.

14.01: 68/64F cloud cleared after lunch.Captured some pale spots in SW quadrant but need a flat to even out the illumination. It looks over-sharpened. Though none was deliberately applied.

14.12 Flat and dark applied to previously captured lights.

16.21 Still plugging away. Now fitted the PSTBF in place of the LUNT B1200S2. Poor seeing or poor capture? [Right]

In the ongoing saga about the ZWO cameras it was suggested I look at the drivers. Indeed, there had been two updates since I started using the ASI174. Unfortunately it was too late to try anything by then. The sun was already well down behind the trees. I tried indoors on the [updated] PC but could see no difference in the coarse grain.
