6.7.21

6.07.2021 AR12835 sinks towards the limb.

 *

Tuesday 6th 60F, breezy and overcast with showers.

11.00 Sunshine through racing clouds suckered me into trying imaging.

Low, fast clouds are moving from the south under higher and slower clouds from the SW.

11.21 AR12835 is on the limb but only fleetingly visible between clouds.

Sun at 54° altitude.

11.15 Nice prom at 11 o'clock. [NE]  Needed more scale but it was the first thing I found as I was searching for the sun on the monitor.

11.51 Disturbed area in the east.

Captured through cloud.

11.56 Disturbed area central/west.

Captured through cloud.

Wind blowing the telescopes around!

More and more cloud. Hardly any sun.

Late afternoon. Variable cloud and even more windy. Totally erratic wind direction.

16.59 AR12835 sinks towards the limb. The difference from this morning's position is readily apparent.

17.07

17.58  Disturbed region in the centre of the north west quadrant.

18.32 AR12835 closer still to the limb.

18.53 Last capture of AR12835 before the trees hid the sun.
